MORE THAN JUST A SLOGAN,
A TRUTH OF GOD’S WORD
“HUNT THE LION” 2 SAMUEL 23: Benaiah’s battle with the lion symbolizes courageous leadership. “Hunt the lion” calls men to stay aware, confront fear, passivity, sin, and hardship with faith and responsibility. Godly leaders step into difficult situations, protect others, pursue holiness, and trust God through adversity, becoming stronger and more influential through obedience.
“THE THIRTY” 2 Samuel 23 : David’s mighty men faithfully served during difficult and dangerous times, often without recognition. “The Thirty” represents men who care more about serving the true King than building their own name. Godly leaders live with humility, loyalty, courage, and sacrifice, devoted fully to Jesus Christ and His Kingdom above personal fame or comfort.
“PREPARE THE CHARIOTS” 1 Kings 18 demonstrates faithful leadership during spiritual drought. Godly men stay aware, plant seeds of hope, pray boldly, and keep working despite difficult times. They trust that God is merciful and gracious, believing He will send the rain, bring renewal, and produce a great harvest in His timing.
